Minecraft updates to 1.2

Hey all Minecraft players! And even those not yet initiated in the ways of the blocks!
Today, Mojang released an update for minecraft, to 1.2

We are dependent upon bukkit to manage the sheer numbers of players connecting each day. So I must ask you not to update, yet.


We will update as soon as a stable development, or preferrably, recommended build is available. From our voting statistics so far on http://clania.net/mc/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=3972 it looks as if we will be resetting the map for 1.2. This is a great opportunity for a fresh start for all players. All aspects of the minecraft server will be wiped including iConomy, the world folder, player inventories, and factions. We will also be upgrading to the new, blazing fast java 7. This update will take some time for the bukkit team to complete, and for us to deploy. So for those of you who are great at following directions, continue to enjoy 1.1! We hope to see you on the server!
